Donald Cried
Donald Cried is a narrative feature, starring Kris Avedisian and Jesse Wakeman. The film was created by Kris Avedisian, Jesse Wakeman and Kyle Espeleta. After winning multiple awards as a short film, the feature version was developed, and shot over two weeks in the winter of 2015. It was created by a small handful of people, with Kris Avedisian as Director, and Kyle Martin as Producer. Frank Heath edited the film, and worked as an additional cinematographer. Donald Cried was chosen to be part of the first features program of the 2015 IFP Lab and premiered in 2016 at South by Southwest. The film went on to play at New Directors/New Films, Locarno Film Festival, AFI and was picked up by the Orchard for distribution that same year. It can currently be rented on Amazon, Youtube, and Google Play.
